About the EB-3 Green Card
The EB-3 is the third preference employment-based immigrant visa category for foreign nationals to obtain permanent residency in the U.S.
The EB-3 Green Card is a great option for both F-1 Student Visa Holders (and their F-2 visa family members) living in the U.S. as well as for those residing abroad.

Your employer files Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker, with USCIS.
Final Step: Adjustment or Consular Processing
If inside the U.S.: file Form I-485 to adjust status.
If outside the U.S.: complete DS-260 and attend consular interview.
